Camera to SWIR imaging

A clip-on system from UTC Aerospace Systems converts a camera to a day/night short wave IR (SWIR) imaging system. The Sensors Unlimited Warrior C2S lightweight, field-ready module and covert laser illuminator locks into the front of a Canon EOS 5D camera (Mark II and Mark III models) to provide operators with SWIR imaging capabilities on the battlefield. The system enables identification quality SWIR imagery, even in total darkness. It provides distinct advantages over visible, thermal, and night vision goggle systems, including the ability to image through glass and to provide target accuracy with enhanced situational awareness. It couples directly with Canon EF-mount lenses that enable vision through haze, smoke, and dust.
