ExhaustTrak from Sierra-CP Engineering, the Automotive Test Division of Sierra, was designed in response to customer requirements for a rugged, accurate, and fast solution for direct exhaust mass flow measurement, and is specifically designed for transient cycle flow rate measurement. Featuring in-situ direct exhaust mass flow measurement, ExhaustTrak also offers accurate, real-time exhaust mass results. No chemical balance analysis is needed. ExhaustTrak produces both proportional analog signal for particulate matter (PM) sampling devices (BG3) or other. The device also produces output in engineering units to host. Fuel hydrocarbon (H/C) input, direct O2 measurement capability allows for real-time exhaust molecular weight compensation. In addition to raw exhaust (pre- or post-aftertreatment), ExhaustTrak is suitable for intake air mass flow, diluted exhaust, or crankcase combustion fumes.
