Designed specifically for severe loader service in quarry and mining operations, the DuraLoad PT L5S bias tire from Bridgestone Commercial Solutions features rib protector technology to minimize sidewall damage. The tire’s larger footprint design provides longer wear suitable to maximize cut resistance in severely rocky conditions in harsh environments. A plain tread with no lugs alleviates cuts and puncture damage caused by rocks in the tread voids, prolonging life and minimizing downtime. The PT L5S is offered in both nylon and nylon steel construction in size 45/65-45. Nylon steel offers added protection from casing damaging cuts for severe operations, while the nylon construction is suitable for loaders operating in environments requiring chains.
