Danfoss introduces the MEP electronic pressure switch designed to meet the demands of hydraulic applications in off-highway equipment. Advanced controls improve safety, extend equipment life cycles, and reduce maintenance costs. Two switches are available: the single switch output version features customized hysteresis, is time constant, and offers protection against short circuits, incorrect wiring, and overloading, while the dual output version includes both switch and analog outputs. Both versions can be supplied with a pulse-snubber to protect the sensor in applications exposed to cavitation, liquid hammer, and pressure peaks. Other features include long-term stability against off-set shift, electromagnetic compatibility and electromagnetic interference protection, a welded design for improved burst pressure and leak prevention, high media and ambient temperature resistance, shock and vibration protection, and stainless steel enclosure.
