The new Sears D8589 driver's seat was designed particularly for large machines used in quarries, open cast mines, and large-scale earthmoving projects. The 89 series Toggle Link Vertical (TLV) suspension designed and manufactured by Sears Seating has no roller bearings (roller bearings running in a roller channel eventually wear out); instead, toggle links replace the rollers and roller channels, offering improved durability. The TLV suspension features cast steel scissors, cast toggles, and linkages. The robust design concept is coupled to new linkage bearings, providing reduced friction, and as a result offers improved ride quality, stability, durability, and general performance even in the most demanding of conditions.
