Synect, dSpace's data management and collaboration software for model-based development, adds functionality with the Signal & Parameter Management module. The module gives users the capability to manage signals, parameters, and parameter sets centrally throughout the development process, making it easy to reuse data within and across teams during various development stages and projects. The Synect module supports numerous file formats so signals and parameters can be exchanged and used with other tools in the process. Synect also supports the management of numerous variants of data artifacts such as parameters and signals and of products such as models. By specifying dependencies between parameters and variants, users can create and manage parameter sets for variant configurations during the development process.
