Hella's Power Beam 5000 worklamp was developed for use on large construction and mining vehicles. The headlamp offers 23 LEDs to provide a flux of 4500 lumen. An integrated, multi-faceted reflector disperses light evenly in the work area, and a color temperature of 5700 K offers light similar to daylight, improving sensual perception and preventing eye fatigue. The Power Beam 5000 offers a consumption of 70 W and can be operated with either 12 or 24 V. Using integrated inverse polarity protection, Power Beam delivers between 9 and 33 V of constant high power under varying operating voltage. If one LED fails, the fault recovery system guarantees constant brightness. Long design life is based on optimal temperature management from cooling ribs on the housing and an additional temperature sensor.
