The Triflex RSP adjustable retraction system from Igus is designed for secure cable guidance on large robot arms or for robots programmed to perform complex movements. The retracting force can be adjusted by changing the pressure inside the pneumatic cylinder to retract even when guiding a complex cable and hose assortment. The lightweight Triflex RSP attaches to various robot models with compact mounting brackets. An optional monitoring system with warning signal is available for robots whose program sequences frequently change, alternate, or are not predictable, including robots steered by cameras. Suitable for power, data, and media supply, the R range has 250 components to guide cables and hoses securely through multiple axes. Tensile forces are absorbed by the cable carriers to increase cable life and to reduce downtime.
