For precision, productivity, and process integrity with complex components, EMAG offers vertical turning machines for the high-yield production environment. The company’s 1600-mm (63-in) wide VL 2 P and 2350-mm (92.5-in) wide VTC 100-4 vertical machines increase medium and large batch production for small flange and shaft components, improving connectivity and saving space. Users can select custom solutions and can operate all control units from the front with access to the machining area, while peripherals can be reached from the back, including pendular technology to reduce idle times to 20 s. Both machines feature a 160-mm (6.3-in) chuck to machine small turned parts, and the 12-station tool turret is equipped for most machining tasks with driven tools up to 6000 rpm at 22 N·m (16 lb·ft).
