AUTOSAR R4.0.3 compatible solution

KPIT Cummins offers the world’s first complete AUTOSAR stack compatible to R4.0.3 developed according to ISO26262 quality requirements, claims the company. The solution includes basic software (BSW) stack and new comprehensive AUTOSAR tool platform-based tool chain for ECU configuration. This BSW stack includes AUTOSAR technical safety features such as end-to-end communication protection, memory partitioning, memory and timing protection, and e-gas monitor support. Adherence to ISO26262 ensures efficient usage of the E2E protection mechanism and considerable savings in context with switching time, thus accommodating more applications as a result of reduced CPU load. According to KPIT Cummins, the solution’s ASIL-D compatible processes are deployed and start delivering results in the shortest time as well. The company is working with the entire automotive ecosystem on the Revision 4.0.3 solution.
