Load bank testing for dc circuits

  • 19-Feb-2013 01:28 EST

When it comes to dc circuits, load bank testing provides a more controlled approach to simulating testing procedures, according to Intertek. Due to additional capacity and consistent and repeatable methods, test results are more accurate, allowing manufacturers to verify and analyze their data in a variety of new ways. The company's load bank testing system features expanded capacity of more than 600 channels at 300 W per channel. The channels can be paralleled to increase circuit wattage and enable concurrent testing. According to Intertek, unlike previously used methods, each load bank is a portable rack that can easily be transported to enable greater flexibility and productivity in the testing process, as well as offer reduced turnaround time.
