Meritor has launched a branded shock absorber product line to replace its Gabriel shocks. Meritor shock absorbers are available in three models: cab, standard duty, and premium adjustable shocks. Products are part of the company’s AllFit series, which addresses a needed all-makes market segment. The shocks are suitable for Class 6-8 linehaul trucks, trailers, and vocational markets such as fire and rescue, delivery, school bus, and municipal vehicles. An advanced sealing system, premium hydraulic fluid, and robust design reduce excessive misting and extend product life. Cab shocks isolate the cab from the vehicle's frame, maximizing ride comfort. Standard-duty shocks use premium components to ensure longevity, while premium adjustable can be converted to regular, firm, or extra firm to support ride preferences.
