OSI Laser Diode Inc.'s product family of high power, monolithic stack pulsed laser diodes is suitable for a wide variety of automotive, military/defense, industrial, and machine-vision applications. Single and stacked pulsed laser diodes are available up to 375 W, and fiber-coupled devices are available up to 188 W. The new high-reliability, high-efficiency devices offer stable output from -40 to +85°C (-40 to +185°F) for operation in extreme environments. The rise time for the OSI LDI diodes is 1 nanosecond, the laser beam spread is 9 x 25 degrees, and the duty cycle is 0.1%. Custom packaging is also available upon customer request.
