Vecdor Nano-Clear from Nanovere Technologies is wipe-on clear nanocoating that offers the ability to permanently restore original color, gloss, and surface hardness back into oxidized textured plastics, highly oxidized fiberglass, and highly oxidized paint surfaces while reducing surface maintenance by 60%, the company claims. The product forms a highly crosslinked dense film with extreme scratch, chemical, and UV resistance, as well as flexibility and self-cleaning properties, including water, oil, ice, and brake-dust repellency. According to the company, it is the world’s first wipe-on nanocoating. The application potential for Nano-Clear includes automotive textured plastics, aluminum and steel wheels, tires, and oxidized paint surfaces, including heavy-duty equipment and boat hulls.
