Luvata partners with Ultra Infiltrant on UltraBreeze brazing wire, designed to improve joint strength, wetting, and filling characteristics compared with CDA 102 or 110 alloys. UltraBraze is suitable for furnace brazing large gaps or press fit joints of the same material such as carbon-to-carbon or steel-to-steel. It delivers consistent brazing results with a single pass, eliminating the need for flux or binder and reducing rework/defect costs. Designed for brazing various stampings, castings, machine screw, and other piece part operations, applications include torque converters, muffler hanger brackets, and fuel rails for aircraft, lawn and garden, and automotive. Consisting of 4.5% zinc, 2% iron, and copper, UltraBraze is available in wire, ring, and slug forms.
