The Applied Kilovolts HW and HX Series of high-voltage modules from ITT Exelis include the 100-W HW Series with output voltage ranging from 1 to 50 kV, and the 200-W HX Series with output voltage of 40 to 50 kV. The units operate from a 24-V input and are developed for applications such as cap charging, ion pumps, and x-ray tubes. Control of the output voltage is by internal potentiometer, external potentiometer, or an external 10-V analog control voltage. All units are short-circuit proof.
