TuneIn has joined Livio Radio's Livio Connect software network, providing consumers access to service for listening to music, sports, and news from all over the world in a safe environment while driving with a smartphone supporting either iOS or Android TuneIn applications. Livio Connect is a middleware framework protocol that enables hardware devices and mobile apps, now including TuneIn, to connect to and interact with one another. The protocol acts as a common language that enables users access to 60,000-plus global radio streams (2 million on-demand programs) on TuneIn through hardware devices enabled through Livio Connect. Additionally, Livio Radio and CSR feature Livio Connect API in the production-ready RoadTunes ADK 3.0 release.
