Lightweight UPS

The Rugged Blade uninterruptible power supply (UPS) from Acumentrics is a portable device with double on-line conversion to provide greater power density to a range of military applications. The system features 1250 VA/1000 W of ac or dc output power and is scalable up to 8 kW. It is approximately 60% lighter than the company‚Äôs current 1250 VA product at only 28 lb with the optional Li-ion battery pack and 33.5 lb with the lead acid battery pack. The slim 1U profile is 1.75 X 17 in X 21.75 in. Its small package and lighter weight make it suitable for supporting combat mission communications and surveillance applications.
