Spectronics’ OPK-541 Industrial Leak Detection Kit was designed to pinpoint the source of leaks in hydraulic equipment, compressors, engines, gearboxes, fuel, and other synthetic and petroleum-based fluid systems. The kit features the compact Optimax Jr. blue light LED flashlight to reveal leaks in small- to medium-sized industrial systems, including areas inaccessible to larger lamps. The light measures 7.25 in (184 mm) and weighs 5 oz (142 g). Also included is an 8-oz (237-ml) twin-neck bottle of Oil-Glo 44 concentrated fluorescent oil dye, compatible with all synthetic and petroleum-based fluids. When a leaking system is scanned with the Optimax Jr. flashlight, the dye glows a bright yellow/green to reveal the leak location. Glo-Away dye cleaner, dye treatment tags, and fluorescence-enhancing glasses are also included in a rugged carrying case.
