Adchem's 650 family of adhesive tapes was designed for low-surface energy (LSE) substrate bonding. Other features of the tapes include improved foam bonding characteristics. Testing on Armacell's ECF-400 foam shows destructive foam bonding characteristics, an important feature when a foam gasket requires improved adhesion to an LSE component. Adchem's double-coated, single-coated, and unsupported adhesive tape systems coupled with the company's engineering capabilities enable the development of high-performance adhesive tapes for demanding applications. The 650 family of high-performance LSE acrylic adhesive tapes are suitable for most requirements in off-highway, automotive, and other applications that require foam bonding including sound attenuation, gaskets, and seals.
