Aluminized Steel Hydraulic Oil Reservoir.jpg

The IFH Group uses aluminized steel on hydraulic oil reservoirs and fuel tanks designed for off-road and specialty vehicles in agricultural, construction, utility, and other off-highway applications. Sheet steel hot-dip coated on both sides with an aluminum-silicon alloy solves the contamination problems inherent in uncoated steels by combining aluminum's corrosion resistance with the structural strength and cost benefits of steel. Aluminized steel reservoirs are resistant to petroleum-based and synthetic fluids while providing protection from atmospheric corrosion. Pressure-tested reservoirs and tanks are customized to fit space and technical requirements; are available in capacities from 1 to 300 gal (3.8 to 1136 L); and are offered with chemical agent-resistant powder coating and with subassembly, including the addition of fill caps, filters, sight gauges, sending units, and hoses.
