Victrex Polymer Solutions’ thermoplastic compound VICTREX WG102 is designed for demanding wear applications. The development of VICTREX WG102 expands the company’s range of VICTREX WG premium wear grade polymers. According to the company, the polyaryletherketone-based compound provides extended service life, lower component weight, and lower costs compared to parts made from metals, polyimide, and polyamide-imide. VICTREX WG102 offers high-temperature performance and good dimensional and thermal stability up to and beyond 300°C (572°F). It is chemically resistant to aggressive environments, including service fluids, and contains no polytetrafluoroethylene.
