Nippon Avionics features five new models of noncontact-type YAG laser welders, expanding the company's line beyond conventional contact-type resistance welders. Used in the manufacturing of automobile parts, electronic equipment, and electronic components, the YAG Precision Laser Welders LW-Y Series is used to weld metal to metal. Models LW-Y150 (max output of 150 W) and LW-Y300 (max output of 300 W) are suitable for welding automotive components while models LW-Y20 (max output of 20 W) and LW-Y50 (max output of 50 W) can be used for such things as termination of copper coil wire for motors and tab welding for batteries.
