Cicoil’s flexible and durable flat silicone cables are designed for use on UAVs that require absolute reliability in mission-critical applications. The cable are made using a process of encapsulating individual components in a shock-absorbing silicone jacket that renders them unaffected by repeated exposure to severe vibration, extreme temperatures (-65°C to +260°C), harsh weather, and the rigors of turbulent flight. They are an alternative to wire harnesses and formed flat and bulky round cables. Each cable can incorporate elements including power conductors, shielded signal pairs, video and coax conductors, and other design elements such as the firm’s StripMount fastening strip.
