PASSUR Aerospace, ARINC team to deliver cockpit predictive analytics and decision support tools

  • 18-Oct-2011 04:58 EDT

PASSUR Aerospace Inc. and ARINC announced a teaming agreement to deliver to the cockpit from flight dispatchers predictive analytics and decision support tools, as well as other advanced information solutions. The agreement will combine PASSUR's airline and airport traffic management software plus its national and international radar surveillance network with ARINC's advanced data communications and capabilities. The new system will make solutions available to the flight deck as well as airline and business aviation operations centers—including dispatchers and air traffic coordinators—for all phases of flight. The combined solution will offer coordinators and dispatchers the ability to share the predictive analysis and alerts they already receive on PASSUR dashboards—related to such operational decisions as diversions and estimated times of arrival—directly with pilots, through an automated messaging process that formats PASSUR content specifically for distribution on ARINC communications systems.
