Commercial Vehicle Group Inc. (CVG), a New Albany, OH-based supplier of integrated interior systems for the global commercial-vehicle market, has acquired certain assets of Stratos Seating, a seat supplier to the Australian military, truck, and specialty vehicle markets. The acquisition of Stratos, which is located in Wetherill Park, Sydney, Australia, is part of CVG’s global expansion and diversification strategy, and it enhances the company’s product offering with the addition of the Stratos suspension system and military seating products. Total cash consideration for the transaction was about $2.3 million.
